Though paying this much does have the interesting side effect of pushing me to go because of the cost.Īlso, FWIW the gyms are definitely always clean but if you’re going during prime hours they’re gonna be as busy as any other gym. Any less or you don’t go consistently then probably not. If you’re there 5x a week, it’s probably worth it. You’re making good money but not $200 for a gym membership you don’t use money. But even if you could, I’d think long and hard about if you should. Of course you should consider your finances when determining whether or not you can afford it. Because I’m there so much, it’s worth it. I go literally every day, sometimes 2x, for at least 2 hours, take multiple classes a week, and sometimes work from there because they have a lounge. I’m a member in NYC on the UWS and I gross mid $100s with bonuses and I’m paying $323 a month for the destination membership (access to all clubs including Hudson Yards and UWS Sports Club).
